Horizontal Bluebird House. Designed by Frank Zuern to be a safer nesting place for Eastern Bluebirds, this horizontal box, birdhouse simulates a hollow tree branch. Over 90% nest near the back of the box, behind a vertical baffle, out of the reach of predators. This is a new birdhouse handcrafted in Maine from eastern white pine. Each birdhouse is constructed to last and includes a brochure that describes the species, and the placement and maintenance of this birdhouse.
